Carats
The weight of a diamond is indicated by its carat, regardless of its size. One carat (ct) is equal to 0.20 grams.
Carat weight is the most determining factor when estimating the price of a diamond.
Carat weight can vary depending on the different shapes of diamonds, such as round brilliant, princess, pear, oval, cushion, marquise, emerald, radiant, or heart.
