A tribute to our legacy.
A tribute to our legacy. A veil of history covers the image of our boutiques through a masterful temporary intervention in homage to the Sota building in Bilbao.
Every detail, place, moment, and person that has been part of Suarez's history has been instrumental in defining its DNA and making it one of the most important Spanish jewelry brands in the contemporary luxury scene.
One of those important and recognizable icons that remains firmly embedded in our imagination is the Sota building in Bilbao, the majestic structure that has housed the flagship boutique of the city where we were born since 1985.
Just a few months ago, the architectural and ornamental elements of the façade of this imposing building inspired our designers and artisans to bring the Sota de Suarez jewelry collection to life. Now, continuing the year of celebrating our 80th anniversary and aiming to go one step further to demonstrate the deep devotion we feel to our origins, we are presenting a very special intervention in our boutique windows inspired by this treasure of Bilbao architecture.
This has allowed us to create an even stronger connection between our boutiques and the location that has housed our original flagship store for decades. It's a very special way to convey the essence of our history through structures painstakingly erected to faithfully reflect every last detail of this iconic building.
This concept allows us to create an indirect invitation to all our customers, curious visitors, and passersby who pass by our boutiques. To discover our greatest value, our jewelry, they will have to look into each of the scaled-down rooms located in the modified window displays.
Intending to create a connection with the previous jewelry collection, the structures feature some of the reliefs our designers used as references to bring the jewelry designs to life, creating chiaroscuros through the building's color palette.
Another of the most distinctive nods to the carefully crafted composition comes from the scaled representation of small plaques characteristic of the streets of Bilbao.
To further enhance the window display of the flagship boutique in the Sota building in Bilbao, a special structure was created on the building's façade, incorporating other miniature elements from the street, giving the project even more context. Particularly noteworthy among these is the recognizable Buick model that Mr. Emiliano Suárez Faffián, founder of Suárez, used to drive through the streets of Bilbao.
We invite you to enjoy first-hand this special intervention in homage to the Sota building in Bilbao in our boutiques in Madrid (Serrano 62 and Serrano 63), Barcelona (Passeig de Gràcia 82), Bilbao (Gran Vía de Don Diego López de Haro, 43), Alicante, Málaga, San Sebastián and in the corners of El Corte Inglés in Valencia (Pintor Sorolla), Bilbao, Zaragoza, Murcia, Seville (Nervión), Barcelona (Plaça de Catalunya), Córdoba, Granada, Palma de Mallorca, Alicante, Oviedo and Castellón.
In the rest of our boutiques, you can enjoy a representation of the structure within the space itself.
