Since Abraham-Louis Breguet founded Breguet in 1775, the watchmaking house has been synonymous with innovation and horological excellence. In 2025, the 250th anniversary of its founding, they wanted to pay special tribute to its legacy with the launch of the Classique Souscription 2025, a watch that combines tradition with modernity.

Inspired by the original Souscription model from 1796, designed by A.-L. Breguet himself to further expand his vision of fine watchmaking, the new model maintains its essence: a simple architecture and a single hand on a white enamel dial, offering maximum legibility and minimalist elegance.

The Classique Souscription 2025 wristwatch stands out with its white grand feu enamel dial, featuring Breguet Arabic numerals and black enamel details. The hand-curved, flamed steel central hand hovers above the slightly angled Breguet Arabic numerals, as well as the circular "chemin de fer" with its specific graphic sectoring indicating the hours and the 5, 10, 15, and 30-minute marks. The "Souscription" inscriptions and the secret signature reinforce its exclusive character.

The case, topped by a chevé-shaped sapphire crystal, is crafted from 18K gold, which the brand developed especially for the occasion. A unique alloy known as "Breguet gold," composed of 75% gold, enriched with silver, copper, and palladium, guarantees durability, resistance to discoloration, and a unique, sophisticated shine.

The transparent caseback reveals the new VS00 caliber, decorated with a unique guilloché design called Quai de l’Horloge, inspired by the curves of the Île de la Cité. The movement, with a four-day power reserve, incorporates an antimagnetic NivachronTM hairspring and an architecture that pays direct homage to Breguet's earliest movements.

As a finishing touch, the Breguet Classique Souscription 2025 model comes with a special calfskin case, inspired by the chests Breguet himself used, engraved with “BREGUET 250 YEARS” and individually numbered.
